Sky Ride Manchester took place on Sunday 7th August and was an amazing experience. 18,500 people took the opportunity to ride their bikes through the city's traffic-free streets, enjoying all the entertainment along the way.

On Sunday 1st August 2010, over
20,000 cyclists travelled 12 km in central Manchester as part of
festivities to encourage more people to cycle. Dr Hannan captured some of the
sights and sounds of the day and has made a short video for you to see what it
was all about. Please send any photos or video you may have also taken of the
day and which you would like to share with others so that we may add them to
