You can access your COVID-19 vaccination status through the free NHS App from 17th May. You can access the app through mobile devices such as a smartphone or by tablet. Proof of your COVID-19 vaccination status will be show within the NHS app. We recommend that you register with the app before booking international travel.
The NHS app is currently the only authorised app that will be flowing the vaccine certification status and as policy evolves swab tests, antibody tests and lateral flow tests. These are yet to be determined as part of domestic use cases. You can learn more about the NHS app here.
Patients who currently are using Patient Access and / or Evergreen Life PHR may in the future be able to use their app to show the immunisation status but currently it is advised for you to use the NHS app for the purposes to prove your immunisation status if you plan to go on holiday soon. We will update with the latest information about what you can use on our home page www.htmc.co.uk for you to see
If you do not have access to a smartphone and know that the country you are travelling to requires COVID-19 vaccination status, you can call the NHS helpline on 119 (from May 17th) and ask for a letter to be posted to you. This must be at least 5 days after you’ve completed your course of the vaccine. We expect the letter to take up to 5 days to reach you.
Please remember the incoming country sets the requirements for what they need for you to enter the country so please check before you travel.
PLEASE do NOT contact the GP surgery about your COVID-19 vaccination status. GPs cannot provide letters showing your COVID-19 vaccination status.
