Making an appointment to see a GP or Practice Nurse
Appointments may be made via the internet (patients are required to register to use this service), by telephone or in person at the surgery. Routine appointments may be made well in advance (maximum six weeks) which will enable us to offer you an appointment at a time more suitable to your requirements.
If you cannot keep an appointment, please inform us as soon as possible as this will assist in over-subscribed situations. Please note that persistent non - attenders may be asked to move to another surgery.
The number of appointments we provide is in excess of local guidelines and averages, However, during busy times and on certain days you may experience difficulty getting just the appointment you require.
Please be patient with us and try to be flexible.
Remember that you are no longer registered with a particular doctor, but are in fact registered with the practice. You do not have to see the same doctor all the time, as our health records system allows continuity of treatment.
