A couple of weeks ago we had some unseasonal ‘Summer’ weather which proved to be a free and welcome tonic for many of our patients; providing a little relief from aches and pains.
But as with most things, ‘you can have too much of a good thing’. (I’m sure you’ve all had a Granny say this to you sometime.)
When it comes to ‘sunshine’ sadly it really is true.
Whether you are out to top up a tan or just enjoying a few hours outside, in the Park, or in the Garden, taking some simple precautions is the key.
Like you, the PPG at Haughton Thornley (Patient Participation Group), want to enjoy this summer safely. So we have arranged a talk for a Health Promotion Session on caring for your skin.
This applies to all ages and all colours and conditions of skin. From ages 0 to 100 this is for you.
